Staying at this B&B was an absolute game-changer! The friendly owners went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The newly renovated apartments were mind-blowingly stylish and clean. The generous breakfast in the shared kitchen was out of this world with pod coffee, and the bathroom was spotless. The central location was jaw-droppingly convenient, with lots of character from the bustling market outside. We loved the charming restaurant/bar nearby owned by Gabriel, who served delicious food and good coffee at a super reasonable price. Our 2-night stay was simply not enough, and we definitely recommend extending it to 3 or 4 nights. The owner, Gabriele, was a total sweetheart and made us feel right at home with his kind gestures and homemade cake. He even carried our bags up the stairs! The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed, including a great selection of snacks and beverages. Our room was absolutely beautiful and spotless with a fantastic ensuite and balcony overlooking the lively market. Gabriele was an incredible help, offering us coffee and cake upon arrival and providing us with helpful recommendations and a street map. The B&B was conveniently close to everything, including a 20-minute flat walk to the train station and a 4-minute walk to the Teatro Massimo. The included breakfast was something out of a dream, with a delicious spread of pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruits. Just a small tip: avoid Google Maps and search for L'Acerba Osteria to find the B&B entrance. we had a superb stay and Gabriele's kindness and helpfulness deserve a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.

Air-conditioning: The room was as cool as an iceberg on a hot summer day. I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud of refreshing air. It was a welcome escape from the Sicilian heat.
Noisy surroundings: Market hustle and garbage removal noise disrupted my sleep.
